As the dark nights set in we have launched our ‘Preparing for Winter’ campaign to encourage all our customers to make the necessary preparations for winter.

With adverse weather expected over the winter months we want you to think about the small things you can do to prepare in case you should experience a power cut.

Although we work on the network all year round to upgrade and maintain our equipment and minimise the loss of power, we want every home, business and farm to think ahead as supply can be affected by the damage caused by severe weather and storms.

It’s particularly important for customers within the agricultural industry, rural communities and those who have critical healthcare needs, to think about how a power cut could affect them and put plans in place to make sure they can manage.
