Are you winter ready?

Preparing for Winter 2018

As we move into winter and with adverse weather expected we want customers across Northern Ireland to think about the small things they can do to prepare in case they should experience a power cut.
Although we work on the network all year round to minimise the loss of power, we want every home and business to think ahead and get prepared.

It’s particularly important for customers within the agricultural industry, rural communities and those who have critical healthcare needs to think about how a power cut could affect them and put plans in place to make sure they can manage.

We’ve got some great top tips to help you get winter ready in our NIE Winter Checklist

Remember you can report a power cut by calling our Customer Helpline on 03457 643 643 or use Powercheck for real-time updates about when power will be restored.
