    Over 18,000 customers have had power restored following the damaging gusts of Storm Hector last night. NIE Networks crews have been working late into the evening and from early morning. At present around 7,000 customers remain without electricity mainly in the Craigavon, Newry, Omagh, Campsie and North Down areas.

    Almost 26,000 homes and businesses have had electricity supplies restored following the overnight gales which brought down trees, branches and other flying debris and causing damage to overhead electricity lines and poles. A small number of homes and businesses remain without power following Storm Hector but we anticipate all remaining customers will have power restored tonight.
