ESG Reporting Finance Lead

NIE Networks vision is to enable delivery of a sustainable energy system for all for the benefit of customers, the Northern Ireland economy and society.  NIE Networks’ stakeholders, particularly financial institutions and lenders, are demanding more information on our Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) strategy and performance which underpin this strategy. They expect NIE Networks to adhere to ESG frameworks, to have Science Based Targets and to have clear net zero transition plans. Additionally, NIE Networks’ employees increasingly expect the company to be an organisation where people can make a difference to local communities and the environment.

To support this work we are seeking a talented individual to work with our Financial Reporting and Sustainability & Environment teams as the ESG Reporting Finance Lead.  The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the ESG Lead to report on NIE Networks’ ESG activities in line with applicable reporting frameworks.  The role provides an opportunity for someone to co-ordinate and introduce new reporting requirements which demonstrate NIE Networks’ commitment to delivering a sustainable energy system for all.
