NIE Networks plays a vital role in the protection of Northern Ireland’s wildlife, biodiversity and surrounding environments. Through a dedicated partnership with Ulster Wildlife we have been accredited as a Wildlife Aware organisation. NIE Networks has collaborated with Ulster Wildlife to develop a bespoke Wildlife Aware Guide and associated training programme for employees, to help them protect and identify wildlife and better understand the environment they come in contact with daily.
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Sustainability & Environment team as an Ecologist/Biodiversity Specialist. This team is responsible for growing our Sustainability & Environment agenda including enabling delivery of our net zero strategy and reporting, bringing improved focus upon the development of a more sustainable organisation.
The role will be based in our newly refurbished offices at Danesfort which are situated just off the Stranmillis Road in Belfast. We also offer home working opportunities through our Agile Home Working policy.
