Who is this open to?

Anyone who has successfully completed our scholarship programme and obtained a 2:2 or higher.

What does it involve?

As the power sector aims to decarbonise by 2050, we are embarking on what will be the most significant change to the electricity network since rural electrification in the 1960s. 

You will be a fundamental part of that transformation helping Northern Ireland to realise the renewable energy vision.

Over a two year period you'll work on a range of exciting, innovative, multi-million pound projects leading the way in connecting renewable energy to the network and shaping the energy infrastructure of the future.

You'll be a valued member of a highly skilled technical team alongside engineers, wayleavers, quantity surveyors and planners working on a number of challenging projects over the two-year programme.

What are the benefits?

  • Salary starting at circa £28,500
  • On successful completion of the programme this will increase to circa £34,000
  • 31 days leave (rising to 36 with service)
