NIE Networks sponsored the Green Energy Award at the Women in Business Awards 2023.
NIE Networks have congratulated Fish City, the winners of the Best Green Business Award at the Women in Business Awards 2023.
The company sponsored the Award for Best Green Business and Derek Hynes, Managing Director, was in attendance to present Fish City with their award.
Fish City is a restaurant and take-away in Belfast City Centre. It is committed to sourcing seafood sustainably; all their cod, haddock, and hake are Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)-certified. All other species of fish are responsibly sourced. Fish City was the first business to join Ulster Wildlife’s Sustainable Fish Cities NI environmental campaign and they extend their advocacy through a Kids Club and a range of educational initiatives.
The Women in Business Awards took place on Thursday 2 March at the Crowne Plaza in Belfast with over 500 attendees.
The company would also like to recognise the incredible achievements of the other finalists who all showed dedicated to promoting a sustainable future through their business activities. They are Hughes Insurance, Larchfield Estate, Triterra, Everun Ltd. and Translink.
