    Further overnight reduction on those without power

    NIE Networks emergency crews and engineers will continue working into the night to restore power to around 1200 customers still without power following Storm Ophelia.  Over 52,000 customers have had electricity restored following a Northern Ireland wide effort to repair the damage to the electricity network.

    NIE Networks emergency crews and engineers will continue working into the evening to restore power to around 2000 customer still without power following Storm Ophelia.  Over 50,000 customers have had electricity restored following a Northern Ireland wide effort to repair the damage to the electricity network.

    Over 50,000 customers have been restored to power following the impact of Storm Ophelia and NIE Networks emergency crews are currently restoring electricity supplies to 3000 homes and businesses.  

    Severe gales, with gusts of up to 70mph, swept across Northern Ireland during the night, bring trees and branches across lines and breaking poles.

    Over 400 incidences of weather related damage to the network are currently disrupting electricity supplies to around 3000 homes and businesses, mainly in Counties Down, Armagh and Antrim.

    NIE Networks emergency crews worked into the night to restore power to the majority of customers affected by Storm Ophelia.  Over 400 incidences of weather related damage to the network are currently disrupting electricity supplies to around 3700 homes and businesses, mainly in Counties Down, Armagh and Antrim.
