Who are we looking for?

  • Students in secondary level education (Aged 14 - 18)
  • Self-motivated students with good communication and time management skills
  • Those who are enthusiastic about STEM and discovering new things

 

What does it involve?

It will be based in one of the NIE Networks offices or sites across Northern Ireland.

You will get insight into a variety of areas within the company including: 

  • Engineering
  • IT
  • Digital Technology
  • Customer Services
  • Planning, Wayleave & Survey

The work experience will include but not limited to, the following:

  • Gaining understanding of our business processes
  • Variety of role overviews
  • Looking at things from an engineering perspective and how things are designed
  • Interacting with all levels of NIE Networks staff i.e. , apprentices & graduate trainees up to managers.
