    Northern Ireland Electricity Networks (NIE Networks) will be starting work to install a high voltage underground cable near Omagh in the coming weeks.  The project involves installing a 110kV transmission cable along Doogary Avenue, the A5 Doogary Road and Bankmore Road to facilitate the connection of the new substation at Gort, which is currently under construction, to NIE Networks existing Omagh Main Substation.

    Northern Ireland Electricity Networks (NIE Networks) is continuing work to complete an underground cable project in Lisburn in the coming weeks.  The project involves installing high voltage underground electricity cables along the Glenavy, Brokerstown and Lough Roads to connect around 25MW of solar PV farms to a major substation in the city.
