The Role

With Governments announcement that the sale of new petrol or diesel cars will be banned beyond 2030, the electricity network must be ready to accommodate high numbers of electric vehicle charge points and other Low Carbon Technologies (LCTs).

At NIE Networks we have a number of exciting opportunities for talented individuals within our LCT and innovation team, helping to shape the future of the electricity network in Northern Ireland through the use of smart and innovative technologies. 

We are seeking driven, enthusiastic and ambitious individual’s, who are highly innovative and prepared to think outside the box and challenge existing processes and solutions.  Whilst the ideal candidate’s would have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, consideration will be given to candidates with degrees in other relevant engineering, data and communication disciplines.
