    NIE Networks emergency crews have restored power to all customers who were affected by Storm Gertrude.

    NIE Networks emergency crews have restored power to the majority of customers who lost power after Storm Gertrude swept across the country.  Work will continue tonight to restore those still without electricity.  The damage to the electricity network has been extensive and included broken poles and trees down across overhead lines.

    Over 17,000 customers have been restored to power following the impact of Storm Gertrude and NIE Networks emergency crews are currently restoring electricity supplies to over 2,000 homes and businesses.

    NIE Networks has started helicopter patrols in the Cullybackey area to survey the network and identify any damage caused by Storm Gertrude.  

    Over 17000 customers have been restored to power and NIE Networks emergency crews are responding to around 170 incidences of damage, currently disrupting electricity supplies to over 2500 homes and businesses.
